Global Goods: The Pulitzer Center has a great site for interesting stories about global issues, like the disappearance of fishing in the Sea of Cortez, gold mining in Peru and its destruction of the environment. Some are older than our kids, but it is a complex site with a lot of resources. Mark Schulte, who presented, said that sometimes reporters can come to classrooms and talk about their work uncovering global issues.
